Back in 1994 a young Jamie Odell issued The Loxodrome EP through legendary London
imprint Jumpiní & Pumpiní under the name of Loxodrome. The four tunes that made up
the release sounded like a digest of where the capitalís four-to-the-floor scenes
were at the time - garage, deep house, acid and just a hint of breakbeat techno are
all swirled up in these classy club rollers. Though The Loxodrome EP was the only
thing Odell would issue as Loxodrome it still ranks as a vital entry in his
discography. How fitting, then, that the new Craigie Knows sub-label Wormhole Wisdom
should see fit to press up copies of The Loxodrome EP for its debut drop.
