DIY labels that treat its artists as family. At the end of the day, our little tribe
in Idaho wants nothing more but the best for you. Not only are we a musically and
socially aware company, but we are also a politically aware organization. We feel
our bands have the right to say what they believe and progress and follow a path of
their own choosing. WavePOP will work with every artists it signs to curate the
contract that makes both artist and the WP family, happy and inspired for the

Beginning in 1991 with infamous psych-rock provocateurs The Brian Jonestown Massacre,
Matt Hollywood has trodden many musical paths over the last two and a half decades.
From deceptively accessible BJM standouts like Not If You Were The Last Dandy On Earth
and Maybe Tomorrow, to the tripped-out folk pop of The Out Crowd, and the hazy elegance
of Rebel Drones, Hollywood's songwriting has wandered through multiple genres, the
playful experimentation always grounded in a core of earnest emotion. His newest
self-titled release on WavePOP records draws on such diverse influences as Cohen,
Hazlewood, Morricone, Gainsbourg, and classic blues and country. Lim. to 1500 copies
