Three years on from the debut LP by Petite Noir we get a new mini-album/EP/whatever
you call something that’s six tracks long these days courtesy of the one born Yannick
Ilunga. La Maison Noir / The Black House is another ambitious project from the Cape
Town-based artist. The smorgasbord sound of tunes like "Blame Fire" recalls Troumaca
and Jamie Woon. Guests include Rha! Rha!, Saul Williams and - returning the favour
after Noir popped up on Atrocity Exhibition - Danny Brown.
