Kit Records is a radio show and record label, formed in 2013. We explore boundary
-pushing music new and old, through mixtapes, interviews, zines and more. Kit Radio
is a fortnightly staple of exotic miscellany on NTS Live. We also organise fun, DIY
music events throughout the UK.
As a label Kit releases exciting, independent music on tape, vinyl and beyond. From
gig posters to hand-printed record sleeves, we create all of Kit's artwork ourselves.

Stacey Juritz Ravens Keller are, more accurately known as, South African composer
and bow player Cara Stacey, fellow South African composer and violinist Galina Juritz,
German harpist Antonia Ravens and experimental and improvisational Swiss guitarist
Beat Keller. Like The Grass is an improvised piece inspired by the rivers of Swaziland
and the green grass of Basel, Switzerland. Violin loops swirl around guitar, harp,
mouthbow and lamellophones. It is a joyful melding of European and African sounds.

‘Nothing New Under The Sun’ by composer Kay Logan's Time Binding Ensemble is a
cyclical neo-classical work. Traditional wind and string instruments are electronically
processed to create twenty-four pieces of equal length. As the LP progresses it moves
through each musical key before resolving. It’s the audio equivalent of walking up/down
an Escher staircase.

HESITATION is a collaboration between Reckno founder Chris Catlin and Kit Records
head Richard Greenan. ‘The Last Christmas’ is their unique take on a holiday album
- these eight tracks, in which a mixture of acoustic instruments and analogue
synthesizers render traditional Christmas carols, simultaneously evoke cold and
warmth, like being curled up in front of a fire while the snow piles up outside
the window.

States. His music juxtaposes the archaic with the futuristic, incorporating

to pre-modern American sounds.
