Anne Gilpin and Robert ‘Hacker’ Jessett present their seventh Morton Valence album.
‘Black Angel Drifter’ originated in the crazy year that was 2016 but was shelved as
Anne and Hacker focussed on other projects. Following the turmoil and carnage of 2020,
their new label Cow Pie decided it appropriate to release it. These ten tracks
represent a fresh take on their ‘urban country’ style.
