Northampton indie band The Moons are led by Andy Crofts, whose day job is playing
keyboards and bass with Paul Weller’s live band. Today is the second single to be
lifted from their album Pocket Melodies. It’s an uplifting song about finding love

Initially a band-based project that quickly became a bedroom-based solo endeavour
from Liverpool-based musician Greg McVeigh once the lockdown began in early 2020,
Sunzoom (named for a Captain Beefheart track) releases its eponymous debut.
A lysergically tinged piece of wonk-pop similar to Super Furry Animals or Beck,
"Sunzoom" touches upon themes that were universally familiar during the pandemic
- boredom, escapism and daydreaming.
