official reissue with remastered sound and artwork. An obsessive melancholia infuses
the two tracks of this record, while haunting lyrics and subtle production definitely
set them apart from their contemporaries. Coldreams was a French female fronted
post-punk band hailing from Clermont-Ferrand.

Camisole Records reissue a lost work of Japanese experimental avant-garde for the
very first time since its 1981 release. Fittingly, the identity of composer Yoran is
as cryptic as the content of Montparnasse; piano recital music flits in and out of
earshot, just as snippets of obscure French dialogue fails to allow for any concrete
context. This is brilliantly dream-like, a simulation of wandering like a flaneur
down streets long past.

Originally released in 1982, Nuts & Co.’s Kangourou is a strange, outre take on the
minimal synth and fourth-world styles that were so popular at the time. The electronic
backbones of these tracks are generally gentle and swaying in a manner that prefigures
the emergence of Balearic house. Atop these we get strange, Dadaist singing and spoken
-word passages that give everything a sense of hazy surreality. Think Jon Hassell
dabbling with Lydia Lunch.

This 7" showcases two different approaches by reissuing hard to find tracks by Jinx
and Madame Bovary. Jinx made the elusive track "Reve Inconscient" in 1987. Guided
by an unreachable and mysterious female voice you're able to walk through an
enigmatic path. A dream that you probably wouldn't want to wake up. Madame Bovary
had a more upfront attitude. Jangly guitars, rowdy lyrics and leading synth lines
defined their sound. "I'm a Runner" summarize their vision.

Andy Ded was an English artist who lived in Paris in the mid '80s. His only release
was this 'Summer Nightmares And Lazy Dogs' EP, mixing industrial music with a post
punk attitude. Notwithstanding a danceable appeal, the release did not gain access
to an audience more attracted by the emerging French cold wave scene. This reissue
is accompanied by a mutant Tolouse Low Trax rework featuring additionals lyrics and
vocals. Remastered and limited to 300 copies.

CAM 024 WHITE PAIN PAROLES ABSURDES LP 06.2022
This reissue also includes the first two tracks of the group only released on tape
in 1985. As a duo, White Pain used only a synthesizer and a drum machine, inspired
by early '80s German pioneers like DAF or Din A Testbild. They brought a raw, powerful
and dark sound which was quite unique in France at that time.
