Beggars Banquet label (exist 1993 - 1994)
A short - lived , joint venture between Def American (who changed their name to
American Recordings) and Beggars Banquet . The original idea was to provide a
sympathetic label to release American's more alternative artist in Europe and the
UK while their mainstream acts were handled by a major . Unfortunately , there were
changes within American Recordings in the USA which precipitated the end of the
partnership. An amicable split - and we'd like to work with some of the acts again !
